Székesfehérvár, Hungary, March 7, 2024
Financial Times has named Continest Technologies Plc., which exports its modular containers to nearly 30 countries, 18th in its TOP 1000 list of the most spectacularly developing companies in Europe.
The FT 1000 ranking, published annually by the British economic daily Financial Times in collaboration with the German research company Statista, highlights European companies based on their highest average annual growth rate (CAGR) over the period from 2019 to 2022. Companies must have achieved a minimum average growth rate of 36.3% to be considered for ranking. Notably, the Hungarian container manufacturing company secured a position in the top 20 with an impressive score of 282.4%.
“Our focus is to revolutionize the logistics and container industry by introducing a fresh perspective and prioritizing innovation and sustainability-driven engineering solutions across various sectors. Whether it’s supporting humanitarian efforts, serving the military-defense industry, or enhancing event infrastructure, we aim to make a tangible difference with Continest products. For instance, after wildfires devastated Maui, Hawaii, we provided temporary housing with 160 of our containers. During the Ukrainian humanitarian crisis, we established a container kindergarten and rescue station in a conflict zone. Additionally, in 2023, we supplied a modern container office solution to the Butmir military base in collaboration with the Dutch military forces. Furthermore, our Continest technology played a pivotal role in a consortium that secured the IDEaS tender from the Canadian Ministry of Defence, underscoring our commitment to innovation and impactful solutions.” – CEO Vidor Kis-Márton, summarizing recent achievements and future objectives.
Continest, headquartered in Székesfehérvár, Hungary, specializes in designing and manufacturing foldable containers and innovative container-based infrastructure units, with patents in over 40 countries. Their containers offer sustainable, energy-efficient, and cost-effective operation, ensuring comfort and safety. Leveraging their foldable design, Continest containers boast an 80% cheaper transportation cost compared to rigid frame solutions. Today, Continest products stand out as leading solutions in the global temporary infrastructure industry market.
“Established in 2019, our company has swiftly risen to become the largest container manufacturing entity in Hungary within five years. Continest, as one of the youngest contenders, now proudly holds the 18th position in this esteemed ranking. This achievement speaks volumes about our dedication and success. Despite the economic challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the conflict in Ukraine, and the energy crisis, our team’s unwavering efforts, coupled with investor support, have propelled us to dynamic growth and continuous innovation in both our products and production capacity. This positions us optimistically for the year 2024, enabling us to further solidify our standing in the global temporary infrastructure industry. We’re honored to be recognized as a priority export partner by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, affirming our commitment to excellence on the international stage.” – Strategic Director Dániel Tegzes reflects on the recent ranking published in early March.
